OPERATIONAL ASSURANCE PROCESS

The Operational Assurance is a systematic methodology to guarantee that the systems of an installation operate in a safe and efficient way according to design values and conditions and meet the operational requirements. It is a process of assurance and verification of performance from the design phase and continues through the phases of Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, Initial start-up , Operation Stabilization and Test run of the facilities.
The overall objectives of the Operational Assurance Process are to:

  • Define and execute the Operational Assurance Activities, which include, documentation, field technical supervision transfer of responsibilities, operation readiness, during Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Operation Stabilization.
  • Review, evaluate and close the training gaps of the owner O&M teams.
  • Ensure that completions and approvals are achieved and documented in the required dossiers and certificates during all the phases of the project.
